Eight years ago Obama said “You lost. We won. Get over it.”
The next morning tens of millions of Republican voters got up, got dressed, and went to work. I hope that most of them ate breakfast before leaving but I have no influence there. Nobody tried to change the election results. They were accepted as they stood.
Contrast that with the present hassles. The results were clear on the election night. Very few people on the Democratic side accepted the results. Many rioted, although we know now that many of the rioters were paid.
There were many attempts made to change the votes of the members of the Electoral College. Some of these attempts included death threats. This has never been done before.
The simple fact is that Hillary was the worst candidate any major party has fielded within living memory. Anonymous said flatout that she is a career criminal. The Dems decided, wisely in my view, not to mention her character or her past accomplishments in their campaign. They could not work on Trump’s past accomplishments so they tried to besmirch his character.
He had been in business for about 50 years. He was never accused of being sexist or racist until he ran against Hillary. A black woman who is an executive in one of his companies made a public statement that she had never seen any evidence of sexism or racism from him or his organization. The fact that a black woman was in that position in an industry that is mostly male is itself proof that he is neither.
During the campaign Hillary stated that she would bring in 660,000 Muslim refugees in one year, much more than the 100,000 Obama had threatened to bring in. Most people oppose this so she lost a lot of votes. She called for confiscation of all guns, forgetting that by some estimates more than half of the households have at least one gun. She called conservative voters undesirables.
She hardly campaigned at all. This was either due to the poor attendance at her rallies or her health problems. Her rallies drew dozens of supporters, unlike the tens of thousands who attended Trump campaign events. At her last campaign event a couple dozen Trump supporters went to the meeting location and seriously outnumbered the Hillary supporters. As soon as she arrived they began chanting “Lock her up.” She did not even get out of the car.
Seth Rich told someone, obviously too many people, that he went to the DNC to work for a political party. He discovered that it was not a political party. It was a branch of organized crime. As I wrote above, he told too many people that he was going to the FBI. He was shot in the back. That proved his contention about organized crime. Six or 8 other people died during the campaign when they did things that made Hillary look bad. After the second or third one someone wrote that Hillary had her hit man on speed dial.
The previous head of the DNC had to resign when it was proven that she had cheated for Hillary against Sanders. The current one has to be replaced because she cheated for Hillary against Trump. The leading candidate is eminently qualified. He is a hardcore Communist and a Muslim. He has contributed a few thousand dollars of his own money to a Muslim terrorist organization. The other prime candidates are almost as bad.
Someone recently wrote that the Communists want to take over the DNC completely. I fail to see how an organization that is based on these policies can gain favor with the public.
It looks like the Republicans will push voter id laws through in some states. A few weeks ago I wrote that in 2012 Romney carried every state that requires voter id and Obama carried the others.
The best published estimates state that 6.9 million people were registered to vote in more than one state, 4 million dead voters were on the list and 3 million non-citizens voted. That is 14 million votes and I doubt that Trump got more than 14 of them.
Some people have stated that Trump is just like Hitler. This was astonishing to me. One of Hitler’s first moves was to set up a group of thugs, usually called the brownshirts, to physically attack and harass members of other parties. This sounds like the BLM and the “protesters” who have been hassling Trump supporters for the past year.
One peculiarity of this past campaign is that the protests continued after the election was over. They made all sorts of protests and then began harassing the members of the Electoral College. One amusing sidelight is the girl who was set to sing at the Inauguration. She received lots of messages telling her that making this appearance would end her singing career. When the public was told about this sales of her album quadrupled.
The “protesters” who went to Washington to cause trouble at the inauguration must have all been unemployed. If you had a job you would not take a week off work and travel hundreds of miles to protest anything so trivial. Many if not most of them were not motivated enough to vote themselves. Obviously someone paid them to go there. That someone is either George Soros or a close associate of his. Soros’ first job, and one that he stated he enjoyed the most, was seizing property from Jews and giving it to the Nazi party. His actions indicate that he is trying to establish a new Nazi party in the US.
The authorities in Washington have arrested a couple hundred of the “protesters.” They can give them prison terms and huge fines. They can, logically enough, demand that they pay for the damage done. This is necessary to prevent thugs from taking over the country. It is basic to employment law that the employer is financially responsible when an employee commits an infraction during working hours. “Protesters” who were paid to go to any of the protests in the past year can be held financially responsible for damages and if they can’t pay then their paymasters can be charged to pay for the damages.
IMHO some of the “protesters” will look at 10 year prison sentences and try to make a deal with the prosecutors. They will testify against whoever paid them to go to the DC riots. Their paymasters can be held responsible for damages caused by the riots.
